Ecklund named to four House committees

House leadership has tapped the body’s newest member to serve on four standing committees.

House Speaker Kurt Daudt (R-Crown) has named Rep. Rob Ecklund (DFL-International Falls) to the following House committees:

  • Agriculture Finance;
  • Environment and Natural Resources Policy and Finance;
  • Greater Minnesota Economic and Workforce Development Policy; and,
  • Mining and Outdoor Recreation Policy.

Ecklund was sworn in Thursday after winning a Dec. 8 special election to fill the vacant House District 3A seat.

The House is scheduled to convene March 8, 2016.
