Service animals can be an important asset to a person with a disability by performing tasks that may be difficult for the individual. For example, you may have seen a specially trained dog accompanying their owner at the grocery store or the post office.
While service animals are important to those who genuinely need the assistance, how do you prevent a person from attempting to pass off their pet as a service animal?
