HF3580 (Youakim) – Teacher licensure provisions modified, Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board composition modified, rulemaking authorized, and technical changes made. HF3186 (Youakim) - Prekindergarten through grade 12; policy and technical changes made to provisions including general education, schools, teachers, definitions, and timelines; and reports required. More agenda items may be added. All testifiers will be asked to limit their comments to two minutes apiece. *Pursuant to House Rule 4.20, HF1868 was returned to the Education Policy Committee at the end of the 2019 session. The committee will vote to send the bill back to the General Register but will not take further public testimony as this bill received a hearing and was voted out of committee on March 6, 2019. Testifiers should contact Alyssa Fritz (alyssa.fritz@house.mn) to be added to the testifier list or submit written materials. Materials must be submitted 24 hours prior to the hearing start time in order to be included in committee member folders. Materials can be submitted electronically to Alyssa Fritz (alyssa.fritz@house.mn) or by dropping off 75 hard copies at Megan Arriola’s desk outside of Room 591.
