Recently we have witnessed multiple victories across America and other nations. Just yesterday, Mayors Jacob Frey and Melvin Carter both abandoned their vaccine mandates for bars and restaurants. In Canada, there is a rapidly growing number of provinces that have lifted their COVID-19 restrictions as a result of the Truckers Convoy. Even Communist California is beginning to follow suit!
Democrats finally seem to be realizing that not only are their tyrannical policies failing, but that they’re on the wrong side of science as well as the wrong side of history.
Of course, the biggest reason they’re caving in is due to the midterm elections coming up and they’re seeing more and more Americans waking up to the COVID overreactions that they’ve been pushing for 2 years now. But make no mistake, these victories only happen when the people apply pressure and refuse to comply. Your resistance and refusal to comply instills political fear into the eyes of the tyrants which forces them to respect you and your political power.
These are all solid victories for freedom. But that doesn’t mean it’s time to get complacent – instead it’s time to double down on your efforts.. We are blessed to live in the freest country to exist - a nation whose everyday hardworking citizens continue to live and breathe the spirit of our forefathers who built this land on the foundations of freedom and liberty. We cannot let go of that. We are winning this fight, and with continued perseverance and non-compliance, we will prevail!
On that note, I would like to add that last week I was briefly joined on the House Floor by a maskless Representative Paul Novotny in non-compliance of the Speaker’s mask mandate. Unfortunately, after being told he wouldn’t be allowed to speak so long as he wasn’t wearing a mask, he got up and left the floor. BUT this is a step in the right direction! Thank you Representative Novotny for standing up against the absurd and useless mask mandate. Now where are the other House Republicans that claim to be against mandates?
We all know that vaccine passports and mask mandates are unnecessary, anti-scientific and hurting our businesses! I have been saying this from the very beginning - these mandates end the day we refuse to comply with this ludicrous anti-science. I urge you to contact your local legislators and encourage them join me in my non-compliance so that we can put an end to these games once and for all.
PEOPLE OVER POLITICIANS ACT
Yesterday I completed the final draft of the People over Politicians Act. It will likely be introduced next week. This bill essentially makes the state income tax voluntary. Those who recognize the waste, fraud, and abuse resulting from politicians’ decisions, are offered an alternative means of funding important programs that help others, while those who think politicians decide best where their money should be spent can continue to funnel their taxes to politicians in St. Paul.
This bill accomplishes 5 main things:
1. Shrinks government by 25%
2. Creates a competitive marketplace where government must compete for funding
3. Takes power out of the hands of politicians and restores that crowdfunding power to the people of Minnesota
4. Vastly improves accountability of non-profit organizations and state government
5. De facto School Choice
