The meeting is for the Prison Population Task Force, an informal discussion by a group of stakeholders including the Senate Judiciary Committee, members of the House Public Safety Committee, and officials from state and local agencies, among others.

The agenda for the meeting will focus on reform of controlled substances law in Minnesota. Included in the agenda is a presentation from the Sentencing Guidelines Commission and a discussion on the background of drug sentencing law.
