The Minnesota House of Representatives is looking for High School Pages for the 2017 legislative session.
Modeled after the United States Congress Page Program, the program is open to all Minnesota high school students in the Junior year, and is a week in duration. The formal application process includes an application form, acquiring a faculty recommendation, and submitting an essay. Applications are Due on December 2nd, 2016.
Representative Roz Peterson (R-Lakeville) issued the following statement regarding the High School Page Program:
"The Minnesota House of Representatives High School Page Program is a wonderful opportunity for students to get a working knowledge of state government," said Rep. Peterson. "I encourage all interested student to apply, and see what a career in public service in like first-hand."
