This hearing will highlight the voices of public school administrators, principals, school board members and the Minnesota Department of Education about their experiences with distance learning.

HF 33 (Youakim): Pre-K through grade 12 education policy changes made including general education, education excellence, teacher licensing, health and safety, special education, and early childhood education; and report changes made.

Hearing Notes:
Public testimony was taken during the regular session on all provisions in HF 33, HF 18 and the majority of provisions in HF 36. Written testimony will still be accepted on all bills and limited oral testimony will be taken on the following provisions in HF 36 that had less opportunity for testimony during the regular session: Article 2 Sections 2, 5-16 and Article 6. Please plan to keep comments under 2 minutes. To submit written comments or request to testify, email Alyssa Fritz at alyssa.fritz@house.mn by 10:00 AM on Tuesday, June 16.

The deadline for members to submit amendments to the Committee Administrator is 5 PM on Monday, June 15.
