HEALTH FINANCE AND POLICY COMMITTEE

MINUTES

Representative Tina Liebling, Chair of the Committee, called the virtual Health Finance and Policy Committee meeting to order at 3:00 P.M. on February 23, 2022 pursuant to House rule 10.01. The meeting is being broadcast via Zoom and House Public Information Services.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Munson moved that the minutes of February 22, 2022 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF56 (Elkins) Lymphedema compression treatment item coverage required.

Chair Liebling moved that HF56 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Health Finance and Policy Committee bill.

Representative Elkins presented his bill.

Peter Brickwedde, Assistant Commissioner, Government & External Affairs, Minnesota Department of Commerce responded to member questions.

Chair Liebling laid over HF56 for possible inclusion in the Committee bill.

HF447 (Acomb) First Engrossment No-cost diagnostic services and testing following a mammogram required.

Chair Liebling moved that HF447, First Engrossment, be laid over for possible inclusion in the Health Finance and Policy Committee bill.

Chair Liebling moved the H0447DE1 Amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Acomb presented her bill as amended.

Chair Liebling moved that HF2915, First Engrossment, be laid over for possible inclusion in the Health Finance and Policy Committee bill.

Representative Poston presented his bill.

Representative Reyer moved that HF626 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Health Finance and Policy Committee bill.

Representative Reyer moved the H0626A2 Amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Reyer presented her bill as amended.

Representative Reyer moved that HF3676 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Health Finance and Policy Committee bill.
