HEALTH FINANCE AND POLICY COMMITTEE

MINUTES

Representative Tina Liebling, Chair of the Committee, called the virtual Health Finance and Policy Committee meeting to order at 3:00 P.M. on February 26, 2021 pursuant to House rule 10.01. The meeting is being broadcast via Zoom and House Public Information Services.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Bahner moved that the minutes of February 24, 2021 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF1438 (Liebling) COVID-19 vaccine medical assistance reimbursement rate increased.

Chair Liebling moved that HF1438 be heard re-referred to the Committee on Ways and Means.

Chair Liebling moved the H1438D1 Amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Chair Liebling presented her bill.

Chair Liebling renewed her motion that HF1438 be recommended to pass, as amended, and be re-referred to the Committee on Ways and Means.

Chair Liebling moved that HF1499 be heard and laid over for possible inclusion in the Health Finance and Policy Committee bill.

Representative Acomb presented her bill.

Dr. Cody Wiberg, Executive Director, Board of Pharmacy and Randy Chun, House Research, responded to member questions.

Chair Liebling laid over HF448 for possible inclusion in the Committee bill.

HF1410 (Morrison) Health litigation proceeds required to be deposited in dedicated account, tobacco use prevention and cessation activity funding provided, and money appropriated.

Representative Morrison moved that HF1410 be heard and laid over for possible inclusion in the Health Finance and Policy Committee bill.

Representative Morrison presented her bill.

Chair Liebling laid over HF1410 for possible inclusion in the Committee bill.
