Due to the nature and technical challenges that can occur with remote hearings, written testimony is highly encouraged as a format for public comment. To ensure your testimony is posted as a committee handout prior to the hearing, please email it by 5:00 pm Tuesday, February 23, 2021. It will also be accepted up to 24 hours after the hearing to become part of the record.

To request to testify via zoom during the committee hearing, please email Laura.Taken-Holtze@house.mn by 5:00 P.M. Tuesday, February 23, 2021 to sign up and receive instructions. There will be up to 20 minutes of public testimony in support of the bill, and up to 20 minutes of public testimony in opposition to the bill. Each testifier may speak for up to 2 minutes within the 20 minutes provided for supporters/opponents. If we run out of time, you are encouraged to submit your remarks as written testimony (see above).
