ST. PAUL, MN—Representative Greg Boe (R-Chanhassen) is backing legislation to improve a home for Minnesota veterans in Hastings.
“Our veterans have sacrificed for us. They deserve to have a nice place to call home, where they can receive the care and services they need and are entitled to,” Boe said.
The Hastings Veterans Home is a Domiciliary program that is designed to provide mental health, therapy and sobriety help to veterans, among other services.
This legislation seeks to provide almost $60 million for the 145-bed facility for improvements and upgrades.
