St. Paul, MN - This evening, Governor Tim Walz delivered his State of the State Address from his former social studies classroom at Mankato West High School. Video of the address is available on the Governor’s YouTube page.
State Representative Todd Lippert (DFL - Northfield) released the following statement on the Governor’s speech:
“Minnesota is leading the nation in vaccine administration, and we’re at that position in large part thanks to the leadership of Governor Walz. Throughout the past year, the Governor has followed the science and led with compassion, making the difficult decisions that prioritized public health over all else.
“During this pandemic, Minnesota’s seniors and the people who care for them have been some of the hardest hit. As we work our way back to normal, we can’t afford to forget those who have been impacted the most. In the Minnesota House, I’ll continue working with the Governor to ensure Minnesotans make it through this pandemic and begin to build back better.”
