CLIMATE AND ENERGY FINANCE AND POLICY MINUTES

Representative Patty Acomb, Chair of the Committee on Climate and Energy Finance and Policy, called the meeting to order at 3:00 PM on January 24, 2023 in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

Vice Chair Kraft moved that the minutes of January 17, 2023, be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 393 (Stephenson); Procedure to resolve disputes between public utilities and residential customers provided.

Representative Stephenson moved that HF 393 be re-referred to the committee on Judiciary Finance and Civil Law.

Representative Stephenson moved the A1 Amendment to HF 393. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Stephenson presented HF 393 as amended.

• Will Seuffert, Executive Secretary, Minnesota Public Utilities Commission.

Representative Stephenson renewed the motion that HF 393 as amended be re-referred to the committee on Judiciary Finance and Civil Law. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

A presentation on the Public Utilities Commission was provided.
