HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES NINETY-SECOND SESSION

COMMERCE FINANCE AND POLICY COMMITTEE

Representative Zack Stephenson, Chair of the Commerce Finance and Policy Committee, called the virtual meeting to order at 3:00 PM on March 1st, 2022 pursuant to House rule 10.01. The meeting was broadcast via Zoom and House Public Information Services.

Representative Kotyza-Witthuhn moved to approve the minutes from the committee meeting on February 23rd, 2022. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF11 (Schultz); Transitional cost-sharing reduction, premium subsidy, small employers public option, and transitional health care credit established; MinnesotaCare eligibility expanded; premium scale modified; and recommendations required for alternative delivery and payment system.

Representative Stephenson moved HF11 be recommended to be referred to the Taxes Committee.

Representative Stephenson moved the HF11A26 (Schultz) amendment. THE MOTION
PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
