MINUTES

Representative Bennett, Vice Chair of the Education Finance Committee, called the meeting to order at 1:01 P.M. on March 27th, 2018 in Room 5 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Poston moved that the minutes of March 22, 2018 be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF3529 McDonald, Charter school property exemption expanded.

Representative Bennett moved HF3529 be re-referred to the Committee on Taxes.

Representative McDonald testified on HF3529.

Representative Loon assumed the gavel at 1:22 P. M.

Representative Loon renewed her motion to re-refer HF3529 to the Committee on Taxes. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF4117 Urdahl, Government and citizenship credit required for high school graduation.

Representative Loon moved HF4117 be re-referred to the Committee on Ways and Means.

Representative Loon moved an oral amendment. On line 1.21 delete the word “a”. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Urdahl testified on HF4117, as amended.

Representative Pugh testified on HF3592.

Representative Loon moved the amendment A18-0703. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
