MINUTES

Representative McDonald, Vice Chair of the Health and Human Services Finance Committee, called the meeting to order at 12:57pm on March 11th, 2015, in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative McDonald began the meeting at 12:54pm, a quorum was NOT present.

A quorum was present at 12:57pm. The meeting was called to order at 12:57pm.

Representative Halverson moved approval of the March 10th, 2015 minutes. The motion PREVAILED. The minutes were APPROVED.

Representative McDonald moved that HF 352 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Health and Human Services Omnibus bill.

Representative McDonald moved the A1 amendment. The motion PREVAILED.

Representative Anderson, S.; Colleen Moriarity, Hunger Solutions, and Steve Krikava, MAZON, A Jewish Response to Hunger, presented on HF 352, as amended.

Representative McDonald renewed his motion that HF 352, as amended, be laid over for possible inclusion in the Health and Human Services Omnibus bill. The motion PREVAILED.

Representative Liebling moved that HF 525 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Health and Human Services Omnibus bill.

Representative Freiberg; Dr. Kevin Croston, Chief Medical Officer, North Memorial
Jason Rusinak, Manager of Population Health, North Memorial, all presented on HF 525.

Representative Liebling renewed her motion that HF 525 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Health and Human Services Omnibus bill. The motion PREVAILED.

Representative Franson moved that HF 1258 be re-referred to the Health and Human Services Reform Committee.

Representative Franson; Susan Mau Larson, Public Affairs Director for LifeSource; James Hastings, LifeSource; and Barb Danielson, RN and principal investigator, Hennepin County Medical Center, all presented on HF 1258.
Representative Franson renewed her motion that HF 1258 be re-referred to the Health and Human Services Reform Committee. The motion PREVAILED.

The meeting was adjourned at 1:48pm.
