HF3171 (Marquart) General education funding and policy modifications provided for early childhood, kindergarten through grade 12, and adult education, including general education, education excellence, special education, nutrition, and self-sufficiency and lifelong learning; forecast adjustments made; and money appropriated.
House Fiscal Analyst Melissa Johnson explained a printout related to 2014 session appropriation tracking - Governor and House target.
House Researchers Tim Strom and Lisa Larson explained the bill summary document related to HF3171 and the H3171A14-0977
amendment. The H3171A4
amendment was also presented.
Representative Quam moved the minutes of March 24, 2014 be approved.

Members’ questions and comments were addressed throughout the bill’s presentation.
