Bill Added: HF4326 (Liebling) A bill for an act relating to public health; authorizing a peacetime declaration of emergency for a public health emergency; establishing a health care response revolving account and loan program; transferring money to the health care response revolving account; amending Minnesota Statutes 2018, sections 12.03, by adding a subdivision; 12.31, subdivision 2; proposing coding for new law in Minnesota Statutes, chapter 144. HF3980 (Liebling) A bill for an act relating to public health; transferring money for deposit in the public health response contingency account. HF2581 (Morrison) Food shelf program purchase of diapers funding provided, and money appropriated. HF4013 (Fischer) Lead risk assessments and orders requirements modified. (pending re-referral) HF3322 (Kunesh-Podein) Medical assistance requirement for persons needing breast or cervical cancer treatment modified. Bills may be added or removed. HF3892 and HF309 have been removed from Tuesday's agenda. Testimony will be taken on HF4326 and HF3980.

HF3450 (Morrison) Family planning grant funding provided, and money appropriated. HF840 (Lien) Medical assistance adult dental coverage expanded to include periodontal disease nonsurgical treatment. HF1523 (Cantrell) Commissioner of human services directed to establish prescription drug purchasing program, and program authority and eligibility requirements specified. HF3980 (Liebling) A bill for an act relating to public health; transferring money for deposit in the public health response contingency account. (Bill added) A version of (HF1523, HF840, HF3450, HF963) were previously heard during the 2019 session and we will have an abbreviated presentation. Testimony will be limited to two minutes. Bills may be added or removed.

HF331 (Edelson) Tobacco; charter schools added to prohibition of tobacco in schools, tobacco sale age increased, administrative penalties increased, municipal license of tobacco provision added, and alternative penalties allowed. HF1058 (Halverson) Litigation proceeds required to be appropriated to commissioner of health and used for tobacco use prevention activities, and money appropriated. HF1535 (Morrison) Enhanced asthma care services benefit for medical assistance established, and medical assistance coverage of asthma trigger reduction products provided. *HF1 (Kotyza-Witthuhn) Early childhood; additional funding and opportunities for children ages birth to three created; programs and funding for prenatal care services, home visiting, early childhood education, and child care assistance governed; and money appropriated. (BILL ADDED. Bill was heard on 2/26 and further testimony will not be taken on the bill.)
