Rep. Sauke statement of support for Gov. Walz’s display of leadership shown in State of the State Address
St. Paul, MN – Today, Governor Tim Walz delivered his State of the State Address from the Governor’s Residence, adhering to the Stay at Home order during the COVID-19 pandemic. Governor Walz asserted that Minnesota is in a strong position to manage the COVID-19 pandemic. He praised Minnesotans for their efforts in slowing the spread of the disease and called on their continued strength and support for one another. Minnesota State Representative Duane Sauke (DFL - Rochester) released the following statement:
“I continue to be proud of how Gov. Walz performs during this time. A calm, informed leader who uses the full opportunity of a very talented staff to form a path of careful meaningful understanding so we all can adopt and adapt to the actions needed for the citizens of the state to be treated as valued participants in this challenge. We all have a place and a social purpose.”
