You’re Invited: Duluth Listening Session Apr. 20

Wednesday, April 10, 2024

Dear Neighbors,

There are nearly six weeks remaining in the 2024 legislative session, and my House DFL colleagues and I are continuing our work to help everyone in our state build a better life and have the economic security all Minnesotans deserve. We’re building upon all the work accomplished last year – including a historic state budget – to make a positive difference for the future of our state.

It’s important that our vision, however, goes beyond the short time we’re here at the Capitol. We’re committed to crafting a long-term roadmap to guide the future of our state so everyone has the opportunity to succeed and thrive no matter where they come from, what they look like, or what they do for a living. If we truly wish to experience that reality, genuine, honest feedback from Minnesotans is crucial.

You’re invited to attend a listening session with me, Rep. Liish Kozlowski, and your fellow community members on Saturday, April 20 from 10-11:30am at Wellstone Hall at the Duluth Labor Temple (2002 London Rd).

Please bring your ideas, viewpoints, and aspirations for our state for 2025 and beyond. Everyone is welcome to attend, and folks planning to join us are encouraged to RSVP here.

An additional opportunity to share your perspective is through the Minnesota Values Project Survey. The survey features six short questions about your outlook on the state. I value your input and hope you’ll take the survey whether or not you can join us on April 20.

Please continue to be in touch. It’s an honor to represent you.

Sincerely,

Liz Olson
State Representative
