St. Paul, Minnesota — State Representative Joe Radinovich (DFL – Crosby) will be holding a series of town hall meetings in the district on March 9, 2013. The first meeting will be held at McGregor Town Hall (10 1st Ave, McGregor MN 55760) from 9:00-10:00 AM, with the second meeting from 11:00 AM-12:00 PM in the Small Meeting Room of the Aitkin Public Library (110 1st Ave NE, Aitkin, MN 56431).
The third meeting will be held from 1:00-2:00 PM at the Garrison City Hall (27069 Central Street, Garrison, Minnesota 56450) and the final meeting will be held from 3:00-4:00 PM in the Hallett Center of Crosby (470 8th St. NE Crosby, MN 56441).
“Our budget needs to needs to reflect both the priorities of Minnesotans and set our state on a long-term path to prosperity,” said Rep. Radinovich. “Public input is absolutely essential to finding those solutions.
“Minnesota is facing a deficit of more than $600 million and we still owe our schools another $800 million. We’re lagging other states in investments in education, transportation, and economic development. We’re not laying down the foundation for a better future and we need to change that. I encourage people to attend one of the meetings if they can make it.”
