SAINT PAUL, MN – Funding to improve the U.S. Highway 169 interchange at Minnesota Highway 282 and County Road 9 in Scott County is on its way thanks to the efforts of Rep. Tony Albright, R-Prior Lake. The House Transportation Bill passed on Wednesday and will provide $2.5 million in funding for improvements to the interchange. The bill was approved in the Minnesota House by a vote of 112 to 21.
“Scott County has long needed improvements for the Highway 169/282 interchange, and I am pleased to deliver this funding for our community,” said Rep. Albright. “Thank you to everyone who has spent years pushing for this provision to be included in the transportation budget. This is an important interchange for our area, and these improvements will ensure the safety of drivers and the economic vitality of our community for years to come.”
