St. Paul, Minnesota — State Representative John Ward (DFL – Baxter) is encouraging constituents to offer comments on the Lessard-Sams Outdoor Heritage Fund Call for Funding Request. The Call for Funding Request is the document that provides applicants for Legacy Amendment Habitat funds with direction and state wide and regional priorities for conservation activities in the coming year.

The deadline to submit comments is 4:00 p.m. Friday, February 7. Comments can be sent to the Executive Director at Bill.Becker@lsohc.leg.mn.
“Public input in all levels and actions of government is important, and this Call for Funding Request is no different,” said Rep. Ward. “I encourage constituents to take a moment to look over the document and offer your thoughts to the Outdoor Heritage Council.”
