St. Paul, Minn. – Tomorrow, the Minnesota House of Representatives Housing Finance and Policy Committee will hear a presentation from Minnesota Housing on rental assistance and the CARES Act.
MN Housing will present a snapshot of data they are analyzing from homeowners and renters who received housing assistance through the COVID-19 Housing Assistance Program (CHAP). Though still unclear of the exact amount of federal funds being allocated to Minnesota, Minnesota Housing is presenting the information to prepare committee members when the funding is received by the state and who will be eligible for the new assistance program.
