WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT FINANCE AND POLICY COMMITTEE

Representative Jay Xiong, Chair of the Workforce Development Finance and Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 8:32 AM on March 1, 2023, in Room 5 of the State Office Building.

HF 1097 (Hussein); Unemployment; penalties for misrepresentation overpayment modified.

Chair Xiong moved that HF 1097 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Workforce Development Finance and Policy Committee omnibus bill.

Chair Xiong moved that HF 784 be re-referred to the Committee on Ways and Means.

Chair Xiong moved the HF 784 DE1 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
