HUMAN SERVICES FINANCE COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES

Representative Mohamud Noor, Chair of the Committee on Human Services Finance, called the meeting to order at 1:03 PM on March 20, 2023 in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Fischer moved that the minutes of March 16, 2023, be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 2215 (Noor); Community residential setting licensing moratorium exception modified.

Chair Noor moved that HF 2215 be laid over for possible inclusion in a future Human Services Finance Committee omnibus bill.

Chair Noor moved the DE1 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Chair Noor presented HF 2215 as amended.

Chair Noor renewed the motion that HF 2215, as amended, be laid over for possible inclusion in a future Human Services Finance Committee omnibus bill. The bill was laid over.

HF 1811 (Fischer); Minnesota Alliance for Volunteer Advancement grant funding provided, reports required, and money appropriated.

Representative Fischer moved that HF 1811 be laid over for possible inclusion in a future Human Services Finance Committee omnibus bill. The bill was laid over.

Representative Fischer moved the A1 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Chair Noor moved that HF 2141 be re-referred to the Children Finance and Policy Committee.

Chair Noor moved that HF 895 be laid over for possible inclusion in a future Human Services Finance Committee omnibus bill.
