CLIMATE AND ENERGY FINANCE AND POLICY MINUTES

Representative Patty Acomb, Chair of the Committee on Climate and Energy Finance and Policy, called the meeting to order at 3:01 PM on March 5, 2024, in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Vice Chair Kraft moved that the minutes from February 28, 2024 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 3949 (Hollins) – Geothermal energy system construction funding provided, and money appropriated.

Rep. Hollins moved that HF 3949 be laid over for possible inclusion.

Rep. Hollins renewed her motion that HF 3949 be laid over for possible inclusion.

HF 3949 is laid over.

HF 3900 (Kraft) – High-voltage transmission lines siting and relocation governing provisions modified.

Representative Kraft moved that HF 3900 be re-referred to the Committee on Transportation.

Representative Kraft moved the A1 amendment to HF 3900. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
