MINUTES

Representative Jennifer Schultz, Chair of the Committee, called the meeting to order at 10:30 am on March 17th, 2021 remotely via Zoom and broadcast via House Public Information Services.


The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

Rep. Robbins moved that the minutes from March 16th, 2021 be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF1600 (Reyer) Adult mental health initiative grant funding provided, and money appropriated.

Testifiers:
• Emily Schug, Deputy Director, Dakota County Social Services
• Lori Long, Stearns County Resident

Chair Schultz moved that HF1600 be laid over for possible inclusion in a budget omnibus.

HF1495 (Fischer) Mental health services provisions modified.

Chair Fischer moved to adopt the Division Report from the Behavioral Health Division. THE REPORT WAS ADOPTED.

Chair Fischer moved the A2 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Chair Schultz moved that HF1495 be laid over for possible inclusion in a budget omnibus.

HF944 (Hanson, J) Residential treatment and children's mental health provisions modified.

Rep. Hanson moved to adopt the Division Report from the Behavioral Health Division. THE REPORT WAS ADOPTED.

Chair Schultz moved that HF944 be laid over for possible inclusion in a budget omnibus.
