MINUTES

Representative Jennifer Schultz, Chair of the Committee, called the meeting to order at 10:30 am on February 9th, 2021 remotely via Zoom and broadcast via House Public Information Services.


The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

Rep. Fischer moved that the minutes from February 4th, 2021 be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF338 (Klevorn) Direct Care Service Corps established, and money appropriated

Rep. Schulz moved HF338 before the committee.
Rep. Klevorn presented the bill.

Testifiers:
• Kirk Ingram, patient advocate
• Diane Drost, parent advocate and Women Staying Strong member

Rep. Schultz laid HF338 over for possible inclusion in a budget omnibus.


HF256 (Morrison) Human services commissioner directed to seek federal funding for the development of recuperative health homes

Rep. Schultz moved HF256 before the committee.

Rep. Morrison presented the bill.

Testifier:
• Dr. Danielle Robertshaw, Medical Director, Hennepin Healthcare for the Homeless
Rep. Schultz moved to re-refer HF256 as recommended to the Health Services Finance and Policy Committee.
