STATE GOVERNMENT FINANCE & ELECTIONS COMMITTEE MINUTES

Representative Michael V. Nelson, Chair of the Committee, called the virtual State Government Finance & Elections Committee meeting to order at 8:30 AM, March 16, 2021 pursuant to House rule 10.01. The meeting was conducted over Zoom and broadcast via House Public Information Services and Facebook Live.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Klevorn moved that the minutes from the committee meeting on March 12, 2021 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Chair Nelson moved HF41 be referred to the Committee on Transportation Finance & Policy.

HF41 (Frazier); Providing emergency paid sick leave to certain employees excluded from the federal Families First Coronavirus Response Act.

Chair Nelson moved Amendment H0041A4.

HF1207 (Long); Permitting a candidate to request the candidate’s residential address be classified as private data when the candidate has a reasonable fear as to the safety of the candidate or the candidate’s family.
