STATE GOVERNMENT FINANCE & ELECTIONS COMMITTEE MINUTES

Representative Michael V. Nelson, Chair of the Committee, called the virtual State Government Finance & Elections Committee meeting to order at 8:30 AM, February 18, 2021 pursuant to House rule 10.01. The meeting was conducted over Zoom and broadcast via House Public Information Services and Facebook Live.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Bahner moved that the minutes from the committee meeting on February 16, 2021 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Bahner moved HF609 be referred to the General Register.

HF609 (Bahner); Making technical changes in chapter 16E.

Representative Bahner moved Amendment A21-0009. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

The following testified on HF609, as amended:

Representative Bahner renewed the motion to refer HF609, as amended, to the General Register.

Chair Nelson moved to adopt the Local Government Division Report on HF527. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE REPORT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Masin moved HF527 be held for possible inclusion in the Committee Omnibus Bill.
