AGRICULTURE FINANCE AND POLICY COMMITTEE MINUTES

Representative Mike Sundin, Chair of the Agriculture Finance and Policy Committee, called the virtual meeting to order at 1:01 P.M. on Wednesday, February 24, 2021, pursuant to House rule 10.01. The meeting was broadcast via Zoom and House Public Information Services.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll. A quorum was present.

Rep. Vang moved to approve adoption of the minutes of the previous meeting. The motion prevailed. The minutes from the February 22, 2021 meeting were adopted.

HF 1433 (Frederick) Providing a biofuels education and marketing program; establishing a council on biofuels education and promotion; requiring compliance with certain compatibility standards; modifying minimum biofuel standard

Chair Sundin announced his intention to lay over HF 1433.

Rep. Vang moved that HF 1433 be recommended to be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus Agriculture Finance bill.

Rep. Frederick presented HF 1433.

HF 354 (P. Anderson) Spark ignition motor fuel wholesalers and retailers grant for technical assistance and appropriate technology and promotional program implementation funding provided, reports required, and money appropriated.

Rep. Anderson moved that HF 354 be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus Agriculture Finance bill.

Rep. Anderson moved the A21 amendment. The motion prevailed. The amendment was adopted.

Rep. Anderson presented HF 354, as amended.

Chair Sundin passed the gavel and Vice Chair Vang assumed the Chair at 2:04 P.M.


HF 804 (Sundin) Bioincentive program modified, and money appropriated.

Rep. Sundin moved that HF 804 be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus Agriculture Finance bill.

Rep. Sundin presented HF 804.
