Starting Line: Lack of mental health care providers impacts Greater MN

Regardless of where you live in Minnesota, finding a health care provider can be difficult for a number of reasons — but it’s a problem that’s becoming very serious in rural areas of the state. There just aren’t enough people available to help, whether for an illness, injury or mental health care.

Rep. Jeanne Poppe (DFL-Austin) sponsors a proposal that would help some farm families and business operators get aid they need when it comes to mental health care. Find out more about how HF232 intends to help, on this week’s 'Starting Line.'
