Starting Line: Bill could snuff out smoking in cars with kids present

Less than a generation ago, smokers were able to light up in restaurants, hotels, airports and many other public places. Today, the list of locations is much shorter — and a bill that Rep. Rena Moran (DFL-St. Paul) is offering could cut it further.

This week on Starting Line we learn more about HF3072, Moran's bill that proposes to prohibit smoking in a passenger or public transportation vehicle if a person under the age of 18 is inside the vehicle.
