HF1940 (Huot) - Student receiving specialized instructional services programs allowed to participate in service area outside individualized education program.

*HF1868 (Youakim) - Student journalists in grades 6 through 12 speech and press rights clarified.

HF3580 (Youakim) – Teacher licensure provisions modified, Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board composition modified, rulemaking authorized, and technical changes made.

HF3186 (Youakim) - Prekindergarten through grade 12; policy and technical changes made to provisions including general education, schools, teachers, definitions, and timelines; and reports required.

All testifiers will be asked to limit their comments to two minutes apiece.

*Pursuant to House Rule 4.20, HF1868 was returned to the Education Policy Committee at the end of the 2019 session. The committee will vote to send the bill back to the General Register but will not take further public testimony as this bill received a hearing and was voted out of committee on March 6, 2019.

HF3072 (Moran): Smoking prohibited in passenger vehicles and public transportation vehicles with persons under age 18 present, and violation fine established.

Information Hearing on HF2467 (Sundin) - Contractor recovery fund modified to include solar installer claims.

HF3433 (Cantrell) - Subminimum wage eliminated, task force on subminimum wage elimination created, statutes and rules allowing payment to employees with disabilities repealed, and money appropriated.
