Friday, April 9, 2021

Neighbors,

This week, the legislature has returned from Easter/Passover break. On Monday, House DFL legislative leaders announced key budget bills which prioritize economic assistance to those most impacted by COVID-19, by asking big corporations and the wealthiest to pay their fair share. These measures will help all Minnesotans make it through the pandemic and thrive in the future.

As we craft a budget to help everyone, I will continue to work on advancing priorities for our district and region, and the entire state.

Vaccination Update

Last week, the eligibility for vaccines expanded in response to the increased federal government supply expected to arrive in Minnesota this month.

If you haven’t received your vaccination, I encourage you to check out Minnesota’s COVID-19 mn.gov/vaccineconnector, call 833-431-2053 or check with your health insurance carrier to help you find out when, where, and how to get a vaccine.

You can learn the most recent statistics about who is getting vaccinated, and other key data, by clicking on this link.
