House Transportation Committee to hold informal, virtual meeting to hear testimony on transit safety

Monday, February 6, 2023

St. Paul, MN - On Friday, February 10, at 11:00am, State Representative Brad Tabke (DFL - Shakopee), in his capacity as Vice Chair on the House Transportation Finance and Policy Committee, will hold an informal, virtual meeting geared towards transit advocates and riders to hear testimony from the public as it relates to transit safety on the Metro Blue and Green Lines.

“The light rail lines are a tremendous asset to the Twin Cities, one I’ve often used myself as part of my commute to the Capitol, but we can create a better environment for riders,” said Rep. Tabke. “We’re inviting the public to come and share their experiences riding the Metro Blue and Green lines, and be part of the conversation of how we can improve safety on these crucial transit options.”

The event will be held via Zoom. Members of the public should RSVP to Enid.Swaggert@house.mn.gov to receive the login information for the virtual meeting.
