Several Bills Moving Forward in the House

Tuesday, May 12, 2020

Today, Rep. Tabke’s Canterbury Park bill, HF4597, passed the House Ways & Means Committee unanimously and was sent to the House Floor. This was the bill’s last committee stop; it will now be discussed and debated on the House floor where it is expected to pass. By giving Canterbury Park flexibility in how they can handle bets during the COVID-19 pandemic, we are giving them the resources they need to survive this crisis.  This bill is a significant boon for our local economy during these difficult times.
