Representative Tou Xiong Statement on Governor's State of the State Address
ST. PAUL – Today, Representative Tou Xiong (DFL - Maplewood) released the following statement on last night's State of the State Address from Governor Tim Walz.
"Our state government should focus first and foremost on improving peoples' lives. The goals that Governor Walz laid out for our state are driven by and for Minnesotans," said Rep. Xiong. "From now until the end of session, we will focus on working together to give every teacher and every student the tools they need to succeed, make sure everyone has access to affordable health care, and ensure racial, gender, and geographic equality."
