Rep. Edelson

Dear Neighbors,

This week, Governor Walz ordered the temporary closure of bars, restaurants, and most other gathering places. Many Minnesotans – workers and business owners alike – are experiencing a deep and sudden financial hardship as a result of these closures. Taking Care of Our Mental Health During COVID-19

Wednesday night, I was a guest on TPT's Almanac at the Capitol. You'll notice I'm six feet away from the host as we spoke.

We focused on the mental health aspects of COVID-19 and how we can take care of ourselves during this challenging time. You can check out the segment here.

Be sure to take care of yourself during this unprecedented time.

  • Call friends and family daily - having personal connections with others will help reduce anxiety.
  • Eat healthy foods and do your best to maintain a routine. This is especially true if you have children - they operate best with expectations and some structure.
  • Drink lots of water and go for walks outside.

We will get through this together.
