ST. PAUL, MN – Today, Minnesota Management and Budget released the February budget forecast, indicating a $9.25 billion surplus. This is more than the December forecast of $7.7 billion.
Representative Greg Boe (R-Chanhassen) issued this statement regarding the report:
“Minnesota needs permanent tax relief. The government has $9 billion while our families struggle at the gas pump and grocery store,” Boe said. “We need to end the social security tax. We need to fill the unemployment trust fund. We need to give the people of Minnesota back their money.”
