Friends, This week was a busy one in the legislature. I co-authored legislation to provide housing for our veterans. I fully support our veterans, and I feel we must do everything we can to provide them with the care they need and deserve. With this bill, the Hastings Veterans Home would get $60 million for much-needed improvements. This facility provides mental health therapy, sobriety help, and so much more, for those who deserve it the most. I am hopeful this legislation will receive the necessary support of all House members and move forward in the legislative process.
