SAINT PAUL, Minn. – The 2022 Minnesota legislative session began on Monday, January 31. State Representative Ami Wazlawik (DFL – White Bear Township) issued the following statement:
“Lawmakers know that people across the state are facing significant challenges. This session, we will work hard to meet Minnesotans’ needs. With a projected positive budget balance of $7.7 billion, we have the resources to invest in child care and early learning, improve public safety, expand access to affordable health care, and more. I am committed to delivering the resources children and families need to thrive.”
