SAINT PAUL, Minn. — Yesterday, Governor Tim Walz delivered his 2020 State of the State address. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, he delivered the speech via video from the Governor’s Residence.
Rep. Ami Wazlawik (DFL – White Bear Township) issued the following statement:
“I thank Governor Walz for displaying the leadership Minnesotans deserve as we face unprecedented challenges to our public health and economic wellbeing. While these times are difficult for all of us, I remain hopeful because they are also bringing out the best in Minnesotans. During his address, Governor Walz highlighted several stories of folks helping one another, including the White Bear Lake hockey community. With Governor Walz’s leadership and our continued support of fellow Minnesotans, I am confident that we will get through this crisis together.”
