MaryElizabeth.Lonergan@House.MN News Release St. Paul, MN – Representative John Heinrich (R-Anoka) is co-authoring a bill that would create ‘Choose Life’ specialty license plates, already available in more than 30 other states. “Minnesotans will be able to drive down the road and see their neighbors and community members believe the same thing they do, that every baby, from conception, is entitled to life,” Heinrich said.
Heinrich said Choose Life license plates support the pro-life movement and encourage others to choose the same. Minnesota would join 33 other states with the addition of a Choose Life license plate. To secure the license plate, drivers would have to pay the registration tax as required by law and contribute $25 upon application and $25 annually to the Choose Life account.
