RELEASE: Rep. Robbins Urges Restaurants, Bars to Apply for Restaurant Revitalization Fund

Monday, May 3, 2021

SAINT PAUL, MN – The Small Businesses Administration is accepting applications for the Restaurant Revitalization Fund starting Monday, May 3. The American Rescue Plan Act established the Restaurant Revitalization Fund to help restaurants and other eligible businesses cope with pandemic related revenue loss. Recipients will not be required to repay funds received so long as any money received for eligible uses is used no later than March 11, 2023.

“I am so pleased that relief for our bars and restaurants was included in the American Rescue Plan,” said Robbins. “Our hospitality industry has been hit the hardest during the pandemic as our small business owners navigated shutdowns and capacity restrictions. I strongly encourage all bar, restaurant, and other eligible businesses to apply for this funding.”
