Rep. Lippert sworn in for second term in Minnesota House

St. Paul, MN - Today, on the first day of the 2021 Legislative Session, State Representative Todd Lippert (DFL - Northfield) was sworn in for his second term representing District 20B in the Minnesota House of Representatives. 

“In these turbulent times, we need a state government that delivers for the people. We have to create a Minnesota that works for everyone, regardless of race or geography,” said Rep. Lippert. “Every day, I’ll be focused on the needs of Minnesotans while leading in a way that seeks to strengthen our democracy. It is an honor to serve, and I look forward to continuing this work.”

In addition to being elected by his legislative peers to serve as an Assistant Majority Leader, Rep. Lippert will also serve on the House’s Agriculture Finance and Policy, Climate and Energy Finance and Policy, Environment and Natural Resources Finance and Policy, and Behavioral Health Policy committees. 

The Minnesota House of Representatives will continue to function under remote operations, per public health protocols and guidelines. Committee work and floor sessions may be viewed on the Minnesota House of Representatives’ website
