St. Paul, MN – This evening, Governor Tim Walz delivered his State of the State Address from the Governor’s Residence as Minnesotans continue to adhere to the “Stay at Home” order during the COVID-19 pandemic. In his speech, Governor Walz called for unity and strength while shining a light on the way forward for Minnesota. State Representative Todd Lippert (DFL – Northfield) released the following statement:
“These are unprecedented and challenging times for Minnesota, and I am thankful for the clear and steadfast leadership of Governor Walz and his administration. Minnesotans have risen to this challenge, and our community is doing its part to ensure that our state remains strong during and after this pandemic. Tough days are still ahead of us, but I’m confident that my colleagues and I in the Minnesota Legislature will continue to work alongside Governor Walz to better ensure Minnesota remains prepared. The state of our state, and of its people, is strong.”
