A quick note wishing you have a happy Thanksgiving. While this has been another year full of challenges, we still have so much to be thankful for as citizens of the United States of America, the greatest nation on earth.
Thank you to the men and women of our armed forces who have sacrificed so much to defend our freedoms. Thank you to our health care workers and law enforcement officers on the front lines. Thank you to the farmers who grow our food, to drivers who transport goods and to our store owners and workers who make things we need every day accessible.
It is because of these people – many of whom will be on the clock as we enjoy our Thanksgiving dinners – that we are able to enjoy this holiday. Thank you all and I hope you are able to find time to enjoy time in the company of family and friends as well this Thanksgiving.
We will be back soon with more notes from the House. For now, have a happy Thanksgiving, be careful on the roads and let me know how I can help.
