Dear Granite City Neighbors,
The workforce shortage crisis is wreaking havoc on our economy and our daily lives. To help address this in our community, I’m hosting a virtual listening session on Friday, November 12, starting at 9:30am, to hear the perspectives of businesses, workers, and members of the public and find solutions to get more Minnesotans back to work.
We’ll be joined by Commissioner Roslyn Robertson from the Department of Labor and Industry (DLI) and Commissioner Steve Grove from the Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED), as well as Rep. Mohamud Noor, the Chair of the House Workforce and Business Development Committee. This is a great team of public servants that help shape policy in St. Paul, and I wanted to make sure they hear directly from our community.
We’ll be streaming simultaneously on my Facebook page and Zoom. You’re welcome to watch either way, but if you’d like to join on Zoom to better pose questions and directly respond to the conversation, please RSVP with your name, address, and business affiliation to Kyle.Smith@house.mn to receive the login information.
In the meantime, if you have any questions about this or other legislative issues, please feel free to contact me at email@example.com, or give me a call at (651) 296-6612. I look forward to hearing from you!
Rep. Dan Wolgamott
